N-School Skate Programs invite you to consider inline skating
as part of your Physical Education Curriculum.
N-School Skate Programs
is an "in-house" field trip that comes to your school allowing you in enhance
your curriculum without leaving your classroom. Like other field trips it is not
mandatory for the students to participate. Students that choose not to
participate should have other P.E. activities during the skating unit. Since it
is a "in-house" field trip the students pay their own way making it not out of
budget for the P.E. department.
We provide each student in the program with a pair of inline
skates and all the necessary safety gear to get them up and rolling. These
skates are designed for gym floor usage and will not harm the gym floor in any
way. We have done so many programs that our skates will work on any gym floor
surface including wood, tile, tartan floors and we have even skated on carpet!
GETTING STARTED
Give us a call and schedule a 5 or 10 day block of time, and we will send you
all the necessary forms including a parental permission form, shoe chart, lesson
plans plus a step by step instructional letter.
We will need your shoe charts 2 weeks before your skating date. Once we receive
those, you can Relax because we will handle the rest.
On the first day, of your program our instructor will arrive with all the
necessary equipment. The skates will be delivered in rolling cabinets that are
easily locked and pushed aside when not in use. Our instructor is complementary
for the first year of your skating program. The instructor will spend the entire
day with your P.E. Staff and will assist you and the students with the
equipment. The instructor will show you how to use the safety gear, how to
adjust the skates, instruct the students through the basics of inline skating.
These basics include starting, stopping, turning, and skating backwards. They
will also show the students some advance moves and play some games with them. Our
instructional manual will guide you through the rest of your skating unit. At
the end of your program we will be back to pick everything up.

INSURANCE
Since you will be using our equipment we do carry a general liability insurance
policy, a copy is always provided on request.
